Delaware River Flooding

I've never seen it this bad. It's worse here than it was during the floods of April 2004 and Ivan, and those are the two that I know best. I live less than 10 miles from the Delaware River so I'm able to recognize many of the images on TV. There was even an inch of water on my patio this morning from all the rain and runoff, and water has never even topped my patio the entire time I've been here. It has subsided since the morning and the patio is now dry, but good grief! A state of emergency has even been declared for New Jersey, and the Trenton area hasn't even seen the worse of it yet. The weather guy on TV just said it is the worst flooding in decades. I can believe that.
